My little girls

The two cuties that I am blessed to spend Monday-Friday with. Ages 3 and 16 months, they are full of energy and love, and for the most part, extremely well behaved.  They make me crazy somedays, but one little smile or kiss or hug from them just melts my heart.

Scarlett is such a happy toddler.  Hardly ever cries, even when she falls or gets bumps, which is very often...she's a bit of a clutz.  She's just starting to talk and her current favorite words are "No" and "Elmo".  She is very active and thinks she can do everything that Zoe can and gets very offended and mad when she isn't allowed to do everything Zoe does (for example, she threw a fit when I took Zoe's lip gloss from her because she was trying to eat it).  She LOVES to eat...pretty much anything.  It's one of the things we have in common. ;-)

Zoe is the smartest 3 year old I know.  She keeps me on my toes, always asking why this and why that and how things work.  She knows way more than any other 3 year old I know and she remembers everything she hears.  She loves to go, go, go...always wanting to go somewhere.  I've been working with her and baking and she loves measuring and pouring and mixing.  She starts pre-school, Tuesdays and Thursdays, in a few weeks.  It will be a huge change for her and for me, but I think she's going to love it.  She also loves sugar.  One day I asked her what she wanted to lunch and she replied "probably sugar" and I said no sugar for lunch.  So she asked "well can I have frosting?"

I can't believe I've been with them almost a year.  It's been so much fun watching them learn and grow.  I can hardly wait to see what the next year brings!

first post

I'm completely new to blogging so bear with me as I get things figured out.  I started this blog to share the happening s in my life with friends, family, and any who would like to read.  I thought blogging would be a fun way to share the funny and wonderful moments in my life...from the silly things the girls I babysit say and do everyday to the results of a night in my kitchen baking.
